Sal's Sunday was quite alright. Well, at least it had been going quite alright until he'd browsed the online journals in a moment of boredom and come across Riley's entry. He wasn't sure what about it had rubbed him the wrong way - he had to admit the photo of Winnie and the dog was quite cute - but his mood had been deteriorating ever since. As usual, bad moods were best dealt with by drinking, so Sal had made his way to Teddy's and rooted himself at the bar. He'd been there for a while now and gone through two beers before ordering the whiskey he was currently nursing.
Slowly swirling the contents of his glass around, he gave an annoyed sigh as he put the glass down on the countertop with a light thud. Sal was used to being grumpy, it was part of his nature, but he didn't like more than anyone else to be grumpy for seemingly no reason. At least when you had something to be irritated with, there was a chance to divert your mind from it at least for a while. When you didn't know why, you were just overall grumpy. Sal took his phone out of his pocket, flipping it open, but he didn't get much further than that. Staring at the worn keys for a few moments, he the closed the device again and discarded it on the countertop, instead picking up the whiskey and taking another sip. He had a feeling he might lose count of his drinks tonight.
