Alecto paused in her brushings to give Rabastan a Look that told him just how amused she was by his question. "Of course not," she snapped. Alecto was not the type of girl that needed to be carried places. If someone was going to carry her, she had better be unconscious or dead. At least he hadn't laughed, which she'd sort of expected him to do. She didn't really want to hex him, because she got a lot of amusement from him, and hexing him would put a rift between them, and then she wouldn't be welcome to invite herself over to the manor (which she technically wasn't welcome to do anyway, but this would be different), and it would just make a big mess. So it was good that he hadn't.
Finally satisfied that she had removed all the dust from her robes, she ran a hand through her short hair and said, "Let's get on then," and took the lead, trying to minimize her limp.
