Alex smiled again, and nodded, gathering her close. "'course. Sleep as long as you like. Stay."
She yawned, then sighed, and he let out another slow breath before fumbling in the covers for his wand. George would start dismantling his charms if he left them up, and there wasn't much sense now anyway. They were covered and quiet.
He pressed a soft kiss to Mona's temple and his fingers returned to her cheek, gently stroking at her skin. "Sleep," he breathed, and he felt her relaxing.
And after a few long moments, he added in the softest of whispers, "And when the time's right, I'll marry you..."
