It had been quite some time since Demeter had been able to speak with her brother, and when he inquired as to her presence in the garden, she was eagerly anticipating conversation. She wore a gown of chartreuse, her hair down but adorned with a diadem. The gardens were often a place to find her when she was not amongst fields on the mortal world. After arriving to the garden she'd taken to seating herself upon a bench, tying bits of wildflowers she'd gathered together to make a crown. A hobby of a child, but she did love crowns of flowers, and perhaps was a little jealous of Themis who had children to make them for.
Zeus' voice drew her from her leisure and she rose, going in the direction from which it came. "Your Majesty?" she asked, but coming around a bend and seeing him, she hurried quickly over and gave the courteous bow taught to all ladies. "You came, I was worried that perhaps affairs of the court might prevent you, and I would be left waiting all day." She smirked, "I am only teasing, you are earlier than I expected."
