Zeus watched as Hecate moved the stones in the velvet bag. Drawing lots was supposed to be fair. They had agreed on that much. But in Zeus' mind, he had been the one who had set the rest of them free, he should have the first choice over the kingdoms. Without him, they would all still be trapped inside their father. They had all received gifts from the Kyklopes and had all played their roles but he had been the one to finally wrestle their father into submission. Why should he have to settle for the underworld below, if it came to that? He had said what he had to say earlier though. And they had all agreed to draw lots.
Zeus kept his eyes on Hecate and a plesant expression on his face. "Honorable lady," he said smiling.
