Sweet cousin,
News from the Underworld brings me great joy as I have been waiting endlessly for a letter from you. Truthfully, I was beginning to worry. As you know ... just as quickly as bad news flies, good news travels slow. I am pleased to hear of your happiness and envy your every moment of joy with him.
Our King, or should I say, my King has calmed your father's spirit. No father would be happy with his daughter being carried away but a King doing the stealing ... isn't considered stealing, I suppose. The promise of a royal grandchild, a son, would make him very happy -- I am sure is the thinking, not of our happiness but alas it is our cruse for being of the fairer sex. Regardless, you are blessed to have found a man, a King, to love you and care for you. Rejoice in your luck, as Metis could not and while Themis is balancing herself on that fine line of Zeus' favor. Six children and no sons is hardly the duty of a wife ... for his standards, of course. His Majesty, Poseidon, has had the better draw of the brothers -- two sons. Things have otherwise been calm.
Don't be a stranger, cousin. I do miss you and our intrigues together.
