Demeter loved the gardens of the palace, the floral life there was rich and attractive. Bright colors to distract one's mind and the promise of eventual company was sure to come. Many of the patrons of Olympus found their way to the gardens and Demeter was one of many. She'd just began her stroll through the garden, not expecting anyone so soon and when Themis had greeted her she stopped abruptly, slightly surprised. It melted quickly into a warm smile though, knowing the other woman to be amiable and kind.
"Lady Themis," she replied, "How good to see you. I see you are enjoying the gardens of his Majesty's kingdom." Oh how Demeter did dislike referring to her own brothers so formally, but alas, it was expected of her position so she complied.
