In the darkness, Leuce held onto the king's robs tightly, not so much afraid of the dark but this was a world she had not been to. Not to mention she'd just allowed the King of the Underworld to carry her away. Rather literally. His words gave comfort, having his voice so close and soft gave her a feeling of peace, putting her trust in him, though he was still somewhat of a stranger to her in many ways.
"Oh...my," she uttered the words in what barely sounded like the exhale of a breath. The palace was stunning in its own right, as the other kingdoms it stood in full majesty and was indeed worthy of the king. Though Leuce found herself more partial find this one more magnificent than the others. Hopefully King Poseidon would never ask her to choose which one, since her father was of his court. Starstruck she was speechless of what felt like hours as she took the sight in, hand over her mouth.
"It's beautiful, my Lord," she whispered and looked at him, "When do I...I mean to say, how long am I expected to stay?" A blush colored her cheeks and she looked away, not so much afraid, but ashamed of where her mind had wandered. He was a king, he could easily discard her, but how badly she wished to hear him say she could stay until the end of her days. Which, unfortunately unlike him, were numbered.
