And her observation would be correct; Hades was a new man seeming to bloom under the surface of the earth, the mantle of King sitting well upon his broad shoulders. He smile down at her offering her his arm and then escorted her towards the shinning palace. “The work is almost all taken care of, I still need to find something to guard the gates, but I do have an idea for that.” he said with some mystery twinkling behind his blue eyes. “Charon, the ferryman who escorted to across the river, has proved most helpful during the transition. I believe I have found in him a most valued servant to my crown, and a most valued councilman.”
As he lead her into the interior of the palace the golden faced gave way to wide white marble architecture (accented with gold), sweeping corridors and high ceilings fashioned with pale blue gems that garbed the torch light and twinkled and gave the impression of sky above. Past the throne room where Hades' large golden throne set before a gold and silver dais. There where many windows along the exterior wall, all trimmed with rich and heavy damasks. Eventually he let her towards a set of double doors. “Ah, here we are!” he said, hardly able to contain his enthusiasm of getting to show his sister his palace. She was after all the first of his siblings to visit and he was eager to see her response. Opening the doors her revealed her rooms. “I hope you like them.” the doors gave way to a large room similarly decorated to the rest of the castle, but with more cushion and comfort “This is the receiving room, the bed chamber is to the right.” he offered with a smile “i have tried to provide it with anything you may need but if you find yourself wanting please just let me know and I will see to it immediately.”
