When Aviel saw Marion bite down on her lip after his explaining that his leaving did do him good he shook his head. He lowered the arm at his neck and took a step forward, tentatively placing his hand on her shoulder. "Don't Mari," He said softly, not caring that he wasn't going with her full name, "It wasn't your fault. It wasn't anyone's fault that I left."
He squeezed her shoulder gently and let his hand fall to his side, "I left because..." He glanced around, seeing all the people and suddenly he didn't care, "Because part of me, that other side of me, needed to be free. It got that, so now I'm one and at peace instead of two at war..."
His smile brightened when she said she was glad he was back, "I'm glad I'm back too." He chuckled and gave a goofy grin, "What can I say? I always have to be extreme."
