Marion couldn't help but chuckle at Ami's pipe gift, "it suits you," she honestly complimented on him. She was tempted to open her gift but wasn't sure if now was the right time.
She was wary when Ami started to speak to her in a lowered voice, glancing to the kitchen when she heard the noises Aviel was making then concentrated on Ami. She wasn't quiet sure what he was meaning in all of this but she blinked back tears when he said Aviel couldn't leave her. She was at a loss of words and swallowed hard, in an equally low voice she replied, "H-he didn't want to leave?" She shook her head, biting her lip, she didn't want to be rude to Ami, he had been through so much already with his son leaving, "Could you really predict that Aviel would turn out like his mother?" She glanced towards the kitchen.
