The warriors were tired of travel, that was the only surety Tristan knew. He was exhausted of following leads that lead nowhere. He was thankful, however, to have a friend to partake in his quest. Manannan, for his part, was still his usual helpful self. He was encouraging and a splendid companion. Tristan would be lost without him.
Looking over to his friend as they approached their destination, Tristan smiled. He was smiling more lately, which was nice. It didn't mean that he had forgotten; just that he had accepted. He couldn't change the past, but he could damn sure change the future. That demon was going to pay.
The house stood alone, quaint and beautiful nestled against the forest. The Seer and her family had chosen a beautiful home. Tristan, however, didn't care much about the home; he cared about the answers he would receive within. He dismounted quickly, tethering his horse to a fence post and taking long strides to the door. Knocking heavily, he crossed his arms.
