Who: Cailynn and Philip
What: Another encounter
When: This evening, sunset
Where: A creek in the forest
Rating: PG-13 for now
Cailynn had been enjoying her time spent with Philip. It wasn't what she had expected when she went on vacation in the south. However, it was definitely better. Today they had decided to meet at the creek they had discovered on their first 'date'. It was approaching sunset and Cailynn was very excited. She was dressed in shorts and a tank top, her long blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. She sat on a boulder, staring at the small waterfall as she waited.
Phillip had waited anxiously to see Cailynn again. The thought of her was always in his thoughts. He ran, weaving in and out of trees at a super-human pace towards the faint blue aura he always saw around her. He didn't think that he'd ever unmark her. He slowed as he reached the creek, and looked down to make sure that the swift run hadn't ruined his shirt or shorts, let alone the handful of wild flowers he had brought for her. None of them could match the scent of her, though. He'd dare someone to argue that. He came up and sat behind her, his legs to each side of her as he wrapped his arms around, squeezing.
She had heard him coming, of course, and smiled when he wrapped his arms around her. She inhaled the scent of the flowers he had brought her. "Why hello," she said, her stomach churning with butterflies.
"Hello Cailynn. I've yearned to hold you, these are for you, but I can only hope they can learn from your example." He nuzzled and ran his fingers through her hair, playing with it. What human devices of a 'date' have you come up with this time?"
She giggled as she took the flowers and inhaled them once more. She placed them on the boulder beside her, then nuzzled him back. They hadn't yet been intimate... they hadn't even shared their first true kiss. Yet she felt that their souls had been mated long before they had even met. She was so comfortable with him. "Come with me," she said softly, grabbing his hand as she stood, pulling him up with her. She had discarded her shoes upon arriving at this spot and so was barefoot as she jumped from the boulder and into the soft grass.
He loved it when she rubbed back against him, and loved to watch her move. She moved gracefully down the boulder and onto the grass with hardly a sound. It seemed like even the animals that were normally afraid of him nearby were at ease with how calm they both were. "A journey, then?" he asked, "I think our other forms are better suited for travel."
"Not this time. Perhaps on the way back," she said, continuing to hold his hand as they began walking. she walked toward the waterfall and through the trees to the side of it. They were moving upward, though the excertion was nothing to them.
He silently went along with her after that, running his fingers over her hand and watched her from behind. He then gazed to the waterfall as they approached, and stared in wonder at the water as it ran and crashed, shaping around rocks which in turned eventually shaped the rocks. It was intriguing, and something he never would have taken notice of a month ago. Before this love.
Cailynn led them through trees and even higher until they came through and into a clearing. There was a small grassy knoll, were the trees parted. There was a clear view of the eastern sky. Where the sun was currently setting. The sky was tinted with hues of pink and orange and purple. She led him to the center of the clearing and faced him, holding both of his hands with both of hers. "I wanted you to see this with me," she stated simply.
Philip stared at the sky in its multitude of colors alight. His eyes were inevitiable drawn back to hers. He gazed intently back into her green eyes, even seeing some of the sunset reflected off of them. Without a word, he instinctively pulled her against him and kissed her.
She had been wanting this moment to happen more than anything. It wasn't her intent for the sunset to bring that reaction, but she didn't fight it. She leaned into him and kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Philip had one hand wrapped around her lower back and the other grabbing at her hair gently. He kissed slowly, then pulled back his head and looked intensly into her eyes. "The sunset came to impress you," he looked up and saw the sky much more darkened than when they had started to kiss, "and it fled knowing you still had it beat."
She blushed, smiling brightly. "Were you always this charming?" she asked, her eyes dancing as they stared into his.
Philip blushed a little as well while looking down, sheepishly. "The family...they taught me to communicate a little better the feelings that I feel." He looked back up at her and nipped her lips, gazing into her enchanting eyes. "I think they still have more to teach."
"And why do you think that? I believe you're doing a great job," she said, her eyes moving between his eyes and his lips. "Besides, I think I can teach you the rest."
His head moved towards hers again as he took her mouth against his. His tongue grazed over her lips and a low purr came out of his chest. He held her tighter against himself.
She melted in his arms... or at least it felt like it. He was amazing and so very good at that. She kissed him back, her tongue dancing with his as her fingers tangled in his hair. The sun was fully set now, and she felt the chill of night on her skin. It was scintillating and amazing.
He picked her up in his arms, wrapped tightly. He lost himself in the feeling of her lips, her body against him. He felt small goosebumps on her skin as he grazed her, and realized the night had come.
She was heady with the romance and love she felt for this man. As they turned, she could feel the animal in her yearning to break free. She broke their kiss and winked at him mischieviously. "I'll race ya," she said, slipping from his arms. She disrobed quickly, the night air making her body react even more to him. This time, her nudity was something more than what it had been before - she was aware of his eyes on her body and it was erotic. Closing her eyes, she transformed.
He watched, mesmorized as she undressed in front of him. Even on the first night that they had met, her body brought up strong feelings, but now it was almost overwhelming. He saw her shift, and quickly disrobed. This time as he was naked and saw her running off, that was enough of an immediate emergency that shifting just came naturally and instantly he was chasing after her, following by scent alone.
She raced back down the hillside and through the trees, bounding from the trunks and fallen branches. The scent of the night air was wonderful and knowing that Philip was chasing her pushed her forward. She ran in a maze and then circled back around to the creek, hiding behind the boulder as she awaited Philip.
Diving and weaving, Philip occasionally crashed and rebounded off of an old tree in his pursuit. She was twisting and turning in her seemingly aimless trek, but eventually saw her leading back to the creek. He was unsure if she'd caught on yet of a supernatural ability to find her, so he playfully wandered around the boulder, seemingly unaware of where she was.
She knew he could smell and feel her... it seemed as if they were bound to one another and she felt an unnatural pull toward him. But she liked that he was playing along nonetheless. It gave her the opportunity to leap from behind the boulder, over it, and onto him. They rolled, and she was laughing on the inside... which probably came out as a growl.
Probably the most unlikely sound coming come from him did, a loud purr as he felt her pounce and he didn't bother bracing himself as she pounced on him. He tumbled with her and wrestled against her, nuzzling her tight against him. He loved this.
For some reason, Cailynn lost control of her form and shifted, laughing peeling from her mouth as she looked up at the large jaguar on top of her. He was heavy, but she could handle it. "Well, hello there," she said, placing her hand on his furry cheek.
