All that Caradoc gave in response was a little hum, distracted with steadying that book in one hand and rifling through unimportant, loose pages. Some were odd encyclopedic pages, others references, practically blank sheets scattered in. Nothing useful but… he wasn't searching for anything particular. The fact they were there at all and now had access to some books, well, that was wonderful.
"It's--" he stopped short, reacting too late to be of any help as Zach almost crashed to the ground. He couldn't get anything else out before he continued talking. Twice, he thought, amused with his quirk and then it echoed in his head, contradiction.
"That's what I was wondering," Caradoc offered a smirk, thinking of a different Potter and not entirely disagreeing. "People would be much easier, either way… And maybe there is an invisible hand to all of it. After hearing about Delphine, it seems much more plausible."
