Land, sweet land. Teddy had nearly kissed the earth the moment he'd stepped through that black strip of whatever and out into a wooded area. How long had he been aboard that ship? A few months? It'd been a wild experience, to say the least, and one that he wasn't about to forget despite the fact that people on board had told him that he would. He'd been told that when people left the ship they'd return home with no recollection of where they'd been. That it'd be as if no time had passed at all and that nothing had happened. He'd return to Victoire without memories of their unplanned, but fast approaching, bump all grown. It had been a seemingly impossible decision to make while Domrémy was on board with him, but once she was gone, he'd had a long talk with his breathing father of all people, and chose to return when the option presented itself.
Only, this didn't look like home.
Teddy had wandered around the ruins for a time, trying to see if he'd pass through and return to the ship...or go anywhere else really. Hands touching the stones to both help search for any sort of clue as to how to use this thing, while also as a way to steady his gangly sea legs. At one point his head managed to hurt enough that he'd decided to sit and take a small nap to reset himself, only too be woken by the sound of body meeting ground.
"Oi! Are you- Alby?" he asked, scrambling to the dark haired man at the bottom of the steps. Teddys hair flashed through a series of colours in his concern for his younger brother before settling back on turquoise when that telltale scar was in view. "Oh sweet Helga HA! You're an infant!"
