It had been a pretty eventful night. In effort to fix her mistake, Ren had been avoiding both of her best friends like they were contagious. She was trying to give Gabe space to figure out his hormones and Claire the chance to win him over in a more than friends capacity. Not being there was her forcing them to spend more time together. The only problem was that when she wasn’t with Claire or Gabe she tended to get into ten times more trouble than she would if she were with her level headed and less reckless friends. Case and point: last night she had poked and prodded a stranger until he had gotten so mad that he literally punched her in the face. The hit had been hard- way harder than it should have been, even coming from a man,- and it had knocked her out. He had also decked her on the same side she had just ripped open after tripping and smacking her face against a gravestone.

| Who: Kenzie and Skylar
Where: The Greenhouse
When: Mid morning

Although it was probably normal for most people to be up and about by this time of day, it was far too early for Kenzie’s tastes. She would have preferred to sleep past noon, but her cousin had woken her up before heading out to do... whatever the hell he did when they weren’t around. After Kenzie smoked her morning cigarette, she rummaged through the clothes strewn about her floor, finding a pair of black leggings, her frayed jean skirt, black bra and a white t-shirt. Somehow she got a brush through her thick mass of hair before tying it up and pulling on her Converse.
It was a decent enough day, and people were out and about, looking chipper and irritating at the same time. Apparently the festival thing was a big deal. Lighting another cigarette, Kenzie wandered toward the greenhouse, more interested in a specific kind of plant than what piece of ass was going to get auctioned off to the highest bidder later.

DATE: Saturday, April 1, 2017
WEATHER: Partly cloudy throughout the day, but clear at night. Temperature ranges from 79-63°F.
EVENTS: Happy April Fool’s Day! The ghosts remain and seem to be there to stay, though there is no official word on the event. It seems that Town Hall doesn’t know how to address the new spirit population in it’s midst. Should they welcome them? Are they something to fear? It’s too new for everyone that’s noticed, and many people haven’t. Without official news, word of mouth is the only way people are likely to find out, unless they experience it for themselves.
With no sign of the bats, the curfew is dropped and the festival is scheduled to run through Saturday evening. Sign-up for the bachelor auction is open till 2 p.m., while the auction itself will take place at 4 p.m. The night’s movie is set to start at 7 p.m., allowing plenty of time for the auction to take place. And the movie is... The Wizard of OZ! A screen is set up in the center of town for everyone to enjoy the movie. Popcorn and other treats are for sale. What a great way to celebrate the opening of the theater!
Around 10 p.m. that night, another body is found and taken to the morgue. Medical personnel at the scene and the coroner note that the body is drained of blood.
Nothing new on the doors.
