Gin blinked as the other woman seemed to render her reasons transparent. She swallowed a forkful of potato pancake, washed it down with more coffee, and looked pensive. "You may have a point there. I hadn't looked at it that way but you're right. I know the guys probably got up there with a lot fewer insecurities on their plates. But us women, we're likely to cry if no one bids. That's heavy.
