Gin would've explained how the potato pancakes were a savory mix, not sweet but she'd breezed past the first mention of them. She giggled at the other woman's smooshed together words, agreeing heartily with her assessment of their silliness. "You're right, you know. It is just a fancy way of charging more for things normally eaten at other times. I don't think they do that here though. Not that I've noticed anyway." She took a sip from the coffee that was cooling in front of her, made a face and put in a healthy shake of sugar.
She spent a lot of time alone in crowds, watching people or starting random conversations if it suited her. She never seemed to feel lonely though. She nodded. "Mmmhm, just little old me. I'm Gin. You're here alone?" she countered pleasantly.
