Gin sat at a table looking out at the weather. It was kind of depressing. She really preferred things to be sunshiny and bright. Though she supposed maybe not so much right now. Not while she was painting dark things and having nightmares and really really wishing she could find Cody again. Just for a few minutes to dispel her weirdness and the strange thing she'd built him into in her mind in the time that had passed since first meeting him. What she needed was a distraction and her food wasn't there yet so there was plenty of time to cast her thoughts and eyes about to look for something.
And they happened to catch on the woman across the aisle who seemed to be having a hard time deciding what to order. Because Gin was the sort to nose in on people and conversations, she leaned slightly over her own table toward the other woman. "I always have the potato pancakes. With sour cream and applesauce they're like heaven on a fork. But then there's also the pie which is completely acceptable for breakfast. Though I suppose it's kind of brunch now isn't it?"
