Finbar ([info]wild_huntsman) wrote in [info]the_displaced,
He chuckled quietly. "Human stuff. Goliath was some giant and David was a human who slayed him with a stone from a slingshot," Fin explained. He was sure there was more to it, some actual deeper meaning to the story -- there usually was with the Bible stuff -- but that was the long and short of it. Tiny David defeats mighty Goliath in an unexpected manner.

Moving along with her, Fin opened up the door to the miniature pony's stall. He moved in first, though it wasn't as though there was some great threat of the pony bolting or doing Jin harm. Still, better safe than sorry.

Crouching down, he grasped the pony's halter and nodded for Jin to go ahead and feed him. While Fin really didn't imagine the pony would bolt, he was more likely to be a little excitable and accidentally bump her off balance or something. "Have you seen many of the acts in the big tent?" He asked. "Most of them perform there in one manner or another."
