New Character, Jessica
Name: Daphne Elaine McIssac PB: Annie Clark D.O.B.: June 4th, 1992 Type: Human
Physical Description: Daphne stands at about 5'3, with brown hair that she sometimes darkens to black, and blue eyes. She is slender, fashionable and tries to stylize herself as sophisticated. She has a habit of trying to look older than her age.
Personality: Daphne is inquisitive, quick-witted and can have a somewhat silly sense of humor. Prone to flights of fancy, though she tries to suppress that in order to keep up her cool and calm demeanor. In reality, she can be quite anxious. She is a caring person who hasn't quite found what she's truly good at.
History: Born in Portland, Oregon to a single mother, Daphne had to learn to take care of herself at a young age. She is the youngest child of two; her older sibling, Dina, is five years her senior. She had a relatively normal life, with her mother doing all that she could to provide financial comfort to her daughters. An average student in school despite her intelligence, Daphne enjoyed daydreaming and imagining her future too often to concentrate very much on her present. She never really considered higher education as being an option, so when Daphne graduated high school, she was thrilled to discover that her great-aunt (whom Daphne was also named after) requested some company in her large home in Honfleur, Louisiana for the summer.
Like most teenagers who have lived their lives in one place, Daphne romanticized anywhere that wasn't home. After reading some books about the South, she became enamored with the idea of living in Louisiana, and all for the low price of doing chores, errands and general maintenance for her namesake.
Personal weaknesses: Daphne tends to glamorize things and then become disappointed when they don't turn out to be as special as she thought. She sometimes makes foolish and downright bad choices because of this.
Personal strengths: Thanks to her quick thinking, she's able to get herself out of most of the trouble she lands herself in, but not always. Daphne is willing to work hard to compensate for her other shortcomings. Due to her curiosity, she sees mysteries where other people don't. This can be classified as either a weakness or strength.
((I haven't really written in-depth about her because in my experience, my characters often veer wildly from what I first envisioned them to be. However, if it's a problem, I can elaborate more.))
