New Character, Jessica (Pt.1)
PB: Conor Oberst Age: 28 Name: Noah Andrew Hollis Role: Human chameleon (Dynamic camouflage), street musician
Physical description: Noah is on the shorter side, but lanky, standing at 5'8. Slight in build, he certainly couldn't win any weight-lifting contests, not that he would want to. Unruly dark brown hair that varies in length, dark brown eyes, an olive skin tone and always a day's worth of stubble complete his features. He tends to wear the same clothes over and over until they wear out or have several holes. He's a regular at thrift stores, and is a firm believer in the old Thoreau adage, "Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes."
Personality: Many people would describe Noah as shy, but that isn't exactly the case. He can be somewhat quiet and reserved when someone first meets him, but this is only until he has sufficiently gotten to know them and feels comfortable enough around them to open up. There are exceptions to this, times when he meets someone and they seem to 'get' him. He doesn't intend to be difficult or closed-off, but he can come across that way at times. Noah reverts to sarcastic humor whenever he feels threatened.
History: Noah was born in Tallahassee, Florida. He started exhibiting strange behavior at a young age. Strange, meaning he could win almost every game of hide-and-seek with the neighborhood kids. Before this could get out of hand, Noah's parents sat him down and explained that he could utilize dynamic camouflage. It seemed to run in the family in the male line. While Noah's father could not seamlessly blend in with his surroundings, Noah's uncle and paternal grandmother had the ability. His grandmother had worked in a traveling carnival in her youth, as part of a sideshow act, and when she had her first son, Noah's uncle, he joined her.
Being a young boy at the time, Noah failed to see the drawbacks of this power, at first. He could imagine making all the mischief he wanted, spying on his friends, jumping out and scaring them. It wasn't until his best friend snubbed him as a freak that he realized he couldn't openly display what he was. He turned inward, losing the vivaciousness that he had possessed as a child. Becoming a reserved young man, he made few friends; the ones he did make, he didn't dare tell them the truth.
