BACKSTORY: (Since The Game Has Yet To Start)
Who: Mary MacDonald & Frank Longbottom Where: The Quidditch Pitch When: April 16, 1976 Rating: PG-13 Thread: Incomplete
The rain had been pouring down all day, but none of that would discourage the young Gryffindor from cheering on her team. Gryffindor was set against Hufflepuff and being friends with teammates on both side Mary couldn't even fathom the possibility of not going. Bundling up with her usual red and yellow scarf and warm winter robes, despite it being the month of April she headed out to the pitch where there stands where fairly empty.
Having been an avid fan since first year, Mary knew that the weather severly influenced the turn outs of the crowd and she didn't anticipate to see many Gryffindors or Hufflepuffs amongst the stands. The only game where weather seemed to prove irrelevant was Slytherin versus Gryffindor. Knowing this the young girl put her hair back in two long braids to try and avoid what frizz the dampness would bring and headed to her favorite seat amongst the gold and red tapestries that marked her house. Completely focused on the game it wasn't until about half way through that she noticed another house mate and friend was amongst the stands. Her face flushed with cold and breath visible amongst the rain she looked over to see Frank Longbottom, a sixth year and as always devilishly handsome in the stands. The two of them were rather close, moreso through Benjy Williams than anything, who was currently on the fields squinting through the harsh conditions.
"Hey!" she called over to Frank, trying to wave him down to the front row of bleachers where she was sitting.
