"Well, yeah," Sloane said, mildly baffled. Sure, she was a chirpy, enthusiastic lady but she was also a skilled and deadly hunter of birds and rabbits and other small game when she was cat-shaped. "Hunting is fun! When you creep up on them and then BAM! you get to crunch down and have a snack. The best part." Did she feel bad for the bunnies after? Sometimes when she was back in her other shape, but realistically if it hadn't been Sloane it would've been some other predator, so it never lasted long.
"I'm not really a fisher," she said, shaking her head and grinning. "I don't like, hate the water or anything but I'm built for land. If you want like, duck or pigeon or rabbit or something like that, I got you. But you're gonna have to get your own fish." Alix was right, though. "The fish here does remind me of being back home, though," she admitted. "Being so fresh and all. I used to do that a lot, buy fresh caught fish from the docks for dinner. The store bought stuff is never as good if you've been able to get the really fresh goods."
