"Noooo," Sloane said, drawing the word out. "Now is the time for exploring! It'll be fun." There was an implied you promised at the end of her statement, but since Alix was already up and dressing, she didn't say it aloud. "And I'm awake because it's not a workday," she added in explanation. She slept later on performance nights, just because the cirque stayed open late and she needed time to wind down after. But caracals were nocturnal, so if she didn't make the effort to do daytime stuff it would become way too easy to be fully a creature of the night.
And while she loved a good goth 'fit, she needed the sun too much to fully commit.
"Are you ready for a day of fun, friends, and food?" she asked, bouncing lightly on her toes. The weather was decent for walking around - a good temperature, and she'd compensated for the slight chill by adding a slouchy cropped sweater over her cheerful sundress. "Do you want to know where we're going or do you want to be surprised?"
Whether or not she'd be able to contain herself long enough to make it a surprise remained to be seen.
