Who: Marne and Vi
What: Cake Delivery
Where: Vi's place
When: Sunday night
She approached Vi's trailer with all of the authoritative swagger of a tax collector, one palm levitated to carefully balance a tupperware cake carrier. With the other, she knocked thrice, her tall frame slanted to lean casually against the door jam.
She'd promised the baked goods even before the cirque's move, back when things had been all doom and gloom and murder riots and the like. It wasn't that she'd forgotten, but, well, there hadn't been a whole lot of time for baking given the circumstances. Now, though, she was rightly proud to finally provide Vi with the subject of her request: a strawberry champagne cake. Leave it to an immortal entity to think of something that swank, but then Vi had always been a class act. Pinkies up, and all that. Marne had jokingly asked her once if she drank from the vein with her pinky in the air. One of her favorite things about the vampiress was that while she exuded elegance and mystery, she also wasn't one to stand on precedence; she'd gotten the laugh, in the end.
Dressed in a casual outfit suited for practice or a good lounge in the g-tent, she wore tight spandex shorts and a fitted tanktop, her makeup neutral save for the dark slant of cat-eyed liner across her lids. A cheeky grin similarly tilted her mouth off-kilter when the door opened, the cake brandished before her like a magician's reveal. "Heya, princess. Heard you ordered some sweetness?"
