"Well, I'll let you go with a warning this time if you try harder in the future," he smiled. "Just remember that it's twenty-five on this road because there are a lot of kids around. You're not going to see them until it's too late if they decide to follow a ball into the road."
Logan felt kind of like a jerk for lecturing her, no matter how friendly his tone was, but he was in the habit of doing it. And in his short career as a cop, he had already seen what could happen when drivers drove too fast and didn't pay attention to their surroundings.
"It was really great running into you, though....Well, pulling you over," he grinned. "Would you like to hang out sometime and catch up maybe?"
