Price laughed. "I'll bet she is," he said, remembering the sassy little girl she'd been when he'd dated Davina. He could definitely imagine her being excited over the chance to dress up and be in her big sister's wedding.
"Yeah, I've been hanging out with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie everyday," he responded to her question, chuckling. "No, I really haven't seen any .. except I think I saw uh .. I can't remember her name," he confessed. "She's a singer, but she acts, too.. Jennifer.. something," he said helplessly. For living out in California, Price was remarkably clueless about celebrities. He really didn't care much about them.
Suddenly Price was struck with a wave of nostalgia. He was reminded of how he felt everytime he was away from her for a bit - whether it was from a breakup, or because he was out in California - and how wonderful it felt to be reunited with her.
Of course, he'd gotten over that feeling long ago, Price reminded himself. Sure, he'd been pretty upset in the months after their breakup... even though he'd been with Jamie at the time. But as the months turned into years, the pain had gone away.. or at least dulled quite a bit. But this was bringing every memory back to the surface.
