Price couldn't help but laugh. He hadn't thought about it in a long time, but now it all came rushing back - her flirting with him, then convincing herself he was gay, and finally they'd hooked up...
"I don't know," he mused. "You were pretty interested in the guitar when you thought I was gay, weren't you?" he snorted with laughter.
Price absently took a sip of his rum and coke, swirling the ice cubes so they clinked gently against each other. He realised that he'd missed this - just being able to talk to her. She'd always been so funny, and had such a different way of looking at things than he did. They were opposites in a lot of ways, but he thought they'd helped even each other out a little. That was probably why the relationship hadn't worked .. but that didn't mean they couldn't talk to each other again, ever, Price mused.
This thought cheered him up considerably, though he wasn't sure why he had a reason to be bummed out in the first place. He had a beautiful, wonderful fiancee in Dawn, and he was supposed to be here tonight partying it up with his guy pals for one last night of single fun.
