"That was... fun," Davina said to Price as they stepped off the stage, sounding surprised at the revelation. She offered him a small smile, swkardly standing in front of him as she heard her girl's table getting louder.
"I should, uhm... get back," she told Price, nodding towards the tiara-and-sash filled table. Then, for whatever reason -- the alcohol, the memories, the thought of avoiding her friends and thus, more shots -- she turned back to Price.
"Unless... maybe... you want to get a drink and... catch up?" she asked hesitantly. "I mean... looks like we've both had some changes going on in our lives," she added, attempting humour in the awkward -- and yet, comfortable at the same time -- situation.
