They'd lived here for a couple of years now, yet Sam was still amazed everyday by the city. There was always something going on; some new attraction, new people, new things to see. The city was always bustling and never silent, not even in the dead of night, and it was a far cry from the lazy, quiet town of Stoneybrook.
Spotting a jewelry store display, Sam pulled Stacey over to the window. There were an assortment of rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches in the window.
"You want a clue?" Sam teased Stacey, eyeing the jewelry meaningfully. "Well, I can't give you one." He shook his head sadly. "Sorry to get your hopes up."
He knew he was giving away much more than he probably should, but he couldn't help himself. He kind of had a big mouth.
