I think she kind of became this joke that starts out small and then gets so exaggerated that you don't really connect the exaggeration to the person you were making fun of to begin with, so you let it get even bigger. I, uh, don't actually think she's a crazy stalker," he added, trying to save his hide.
They turned onto his road and Benson parked his car on the street in front of his house so his parents wouldn't block him into the driveway if they got home before he took Mallory home.
