Cormac | Alicia
When Cormac usually came to Ministry events it had been because of his family, and usually as a favor to his mother. And since she'd agreed to watch Addy tonight, he honestly wasn't expecting to come. His Uncle had made a comment that it might be a good idea if Cormac showed, but since their massively public falling out at one of his "functions", they really hadn't been seen together in public if Cormac could help it. And in all actuality Cormac was kind of looking forward to spending a night at home alone. However, this whole thing he'd had going on with Alica at the moment, he kind of wanted to explore that a bit more. He wasn't sure what was going on between them to be honest. He cared about her, how could he not? They'd been friends forever, and everything she'd done for him since...Addy came to live with him...it just made him appreciate her even more. The other night she had been over making dinner with him, and he caught himself thinking that he could get used to this. And then he panicked because that meant Cormac McLaggen might be slowing down a bit. And then that sent him into another world of logic that just hurt his head.
But right now, he wasn't really thinking of any of that. He was more concerned about the pretty woman in his arms, and making sure that he didn't trip over her dress. Little known fact, Cormac McLaggen was pretty light on his feet. Another thing his mother had insisted upon, that her sons knew how to dance properly. It made him a little sad to think of him and Ryan protesting, but he started smiling lazily again when he looked down on Alicia. "That's because there's nothing ta thank me for." he said.
