Fat. FAT. F.A.T. The word had been swimming in front of her eyes all night long. She couldn't sleep, spending the whole night staring at the ceiling as tears slid down her cheeks. The truth was, she was fat. Everyone thought she was a pathetic, fat girl who couldn't get a husband. The fact that marriage scared the life out of her was neither here nor there really, as Gwen could only think on everything that had been written. It had taken hours for her to finally fall into a fitful sleep, and by the time she woke up, after what felt like only five minutes, Gwen looked like death warmed over. Rolling out of bed, Gwen walked across the small studio flat toward the bathroom. Getting ready that morning had been one far more difficult than expected, and it was quite obvious that even the best spells weren't going to help in this situation. Sure, maybe she didn't look dead, but even as she disapparated from her flat, Gwen could only cross her fingers and hope that no one would say anything. Who was she kidding?
Making her way through the corridor, Gwen did her best to avoid looking at anyone. It hadn't stopped her from commenting every time she opened her mouth. "You'll have to wait for the next one, capacity's 500lbs, and you'll send us over that." Only to be topped by "You know, I can recommend a good spell to get rid of that little moustache" as she'd said to a female member of the Wizengamot that morning". So by the time Gwendolyn made her way to the desk, she was starting to hope that it was going t be a slow day. Setting down her things, she checked the clock to make sure she still had some time, before making her way to the nearest possible kettle. Making a point of avoiding breakfast, Gwen was going to make certain that she had everything else she needed. She was definitely going to need some caffeine to get through this day.
