Lee felt himself wince as every word that Ginny said to him struck home. He looked away guiltily, listening in silent misery to Ginny. "I know I didn't. And I wish I could take it back but I can't," he told his voice breaking a little. "I wasn't thinking straight. If I had been I never would have done it. I didn't think it would make him that sick," he said looking back at her, tears in his eyes. "And I know I shouldn't have come here but I had to. I had to apologize to you," he told her, his voice strained with the tension of keeping his tears in. He hated himself for having done this to them. Ginny was family to him and he couldn't shake the feeling that in one night he'd managed to destroy that.
