"Yeah," Gabe drew out the world, giving Castiel a look, "not actually big on fighting." Sure, he'd stood up to Lucifer, but that had taken every ounce of courage he had. Even now, he wasn't sure he'd actually have managed to go through with it, killing his elder brother.
Letting out a sigh, Gabriel shook his head, "Heaven's not been perfect for a long time."
It was clear that Castiel held himself entirely responsible for all that had happened, and as such he was giving himself the hardest of times over it. Nothing Gabriel could say would make him feel any worse about things, so why judge? Why be that guy? He'd made enough mistakes of his own over the millennia.
Nodding at the apology in acceptance, he moved to sit beside his younger sibling, wrapping an arm across his shoulders for a moment. "I forgive you, so shut up with the apologies, okay?"
