His eyebrows shot up at the the new information. So he'd been dead for years? Interesting. Heaven was completely void of Archangels in Cas' world. He sure hoped their first enemy never got out, or they'd be royally screwed. Nodding, he listened carefully as Castiel continued with his explanation, sensing there were some things being left out, but deciding not to push it, at least not just yet.
Seeing Cas' gaze flicker to his wings, he tried to bring them under a little more control and shifted back to his original position, slouched on the sofa.
"They fell? All of them?" He could well imagine the anxiety and confusion that brought to his brethren and he frowned, Metatron shouldn't have been allowed to get his hands on that kind of power. He was just, well, Metatron.
"I see. Well, so long as it's been dealt with." He shot Castiel a wry smile. "Makes me kind of glad I'm dead."
