Not at all. I supervised SHIELD's trials. We tested it on agents who were extremely injured or dying, one with a terminal disease. At first, the agents showed signs of complete recovery; however, they each eventually developed the same form of psychosis, demonstrating a persistent need to carve a series of unusual symbols of which they had no prior knowledge, and an unhealthy obsession with determining the symbols' meaning. Doctor Goodman, who worked on the project, suggested erasing the memories of all of the patients regarding the project to erase the genetic memories implanted on them by using the GH.325, and to give them new identities. It had varying degrees of success. . The mental problems seem to stem from the introduction of information into the subject's sub-conscious, which our scientists theorized to be a result of the introduction of genetic memories from the alien corpse's DNA. I pulled the plug on the project.
In my case, they wiped all my memories of the procedure, however, it didn't work and eventually I got them back. Including memories of the whole procedure. The visible side effects were mild psychosis and hypergraphia along with compulsion to find the origin of what I was writing.
But we found the Kree city, destroyed it, and I'm better now. Well, apart from losing an arm. That was rather inconvenient.
