"Yes," Cassandra replied. "I've spoken with him. Explained things. He's much younger than he should be."
Cass's voice was casual, if not a little regretful. The situation was off putting and disappointing but every upheaval in her life had always been dramatic. Her time as Batgirl had shown her that nothing was truly impossible. Things were what they were and the only way to change them was one step at a time.
"Before I came here," she continued, "we didn't talk. Not for some time. I needed space. Things change."
Sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst. The important thing was staying true to yourself and your ideals. Cass wondered if Mikasa was the same way. She had a fierce determination about her.
