This is an outrage! Just wait until my father hears all about this. You can bet your arses that he won't be happy about his heir being kidnapped and brought to this strange place! Someone better tell me right now where my mother and father are! Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. If you think my father is scary when he's angry, my mum is even scarier if something happens to me!

Lots of children are lost here. You aren't the only one. They think it's bad magic that brought us here. Messere Alfred is keeping a list of our names so if our parents are here too, they can find us.

His family are...unpleasent. I am his Aunt, but he's grown up believing me quite the traitor.

I married someone they considered less than them by blood. So as such I became tainted in their eyes.

But he is my nephew all the same.

Its rather horrid. But our family is no excuse. I escaped their lies as did my cousin. Draco, sadly, has not.

I honestly don't. I don't know the boy well. I hadn't met him until we came here. He's used to the finer things I suppose. And people treating him like royalty.

My sister would have coddled him.

So I'm told at least. One of my instructors liked to say that before death any decision can be changed, and after death one may hope for a life in which to put things right. It's always struck me as a bit convenient, but Earth had been at war with those same instructors less than a decade earlier so there may be something to it.
