... Yes, you were unwanted. My kin were safe. Healthy. Prosperous. You took all of that away from them. You took their lives and their home and their future. I cared not for the wealth that you and my ancestors coveted. What was important to me was always home. I had one, but those who were born earlier and escaped the attack roamed the wilderness in search of a place to be safe again. Our halls in the Blue Mountains were a poor replacement for what they lost that day, I am sure.
We are lucky the same did not happen to us here. I am grateful that it didn't.
