It's legal, but unfortunately I wouldn't call it well-protected. It's about as safe as the clients who'll stand up for them. I wouldn't call it a safe job, but the blame for that lies with the egos of the arrogant, as with any problem. I'll admit that it's easier for people to get hurt doing it, though, I saw more than my fair share of dust-ups in that building. (And you don't sound judgmental! Just surprised, which is understandable.)
Stabbing was a good, quick way to get her to stop. Her friends, too, the ringleader was just insane. As in, blue-lipstick-but-no-eye-makeup insane.
...Also possessing people with demons insane, but the lipstick made it worse.
