At the moment I really wish that I had Belby's notes, or my own notes from his research that he published so I could remember what mundane anti-poisons he tried within his research. It's possible something else might work, but it's not a guarantee and the the likelihood of it being lethal if we don't get it right is fairly strong.
Yes, essentially you can break the potion into three major types of ingredients. You have the poisons, the anti-poisons, and then a series of ingredients that serve to boost the mental clarity of the individual in question. There are a few additional things, such as moondew - which ties the aconite into the moon - but most of the ingredients fall into one of those three categories.
Essentially you are poisoning the wolf, while seeking to keep the human alive, and boost the memories of the person in question so that you remember enough of yourself to stay calm and sane during the moon.
