I never said that I could tell you that. But if you don't use the techniques that we talk about, then they can't work. And they'll only begin to work through practice. Learning to live with your illness isn't ever going to be a magic word or a therapy session in which you come out suddenly cured. There will be fall back, you will not succeed as well as we both would like you to. But I can guarantee that retreating into yourself and obsessing over the musical revue that Alison is putting together is not the way to begin to succeed.
Perhaps you should begin by becoming interested in other people, and taking a genuine interest in them and their interests. You don't have to go into detail about every issue and setback that you've ever had. But the majority of people here have also had some sort of mental breakdown at one point or another.
