The week after the full moon often feels like recovery, though for someone like you I imagine you might feel all right after a couple of days. Basically, all of your bones and muscles are going to stretch and reform, and your body's going to twist into an entirely new shape. It's painful.
I'm twenty-two, but my hair's starting to grey, and I know I look a bit older than I ought to, and I could stand to gain weight. — But I'll be honest with you, much of that may have to do with the stress of constant poverty, unemployment, and social stigma, which for werewolves in my world may as well be considered part of the condition itself.
