Bruce had occupied himself with medical supply lists and other battle preparations, until his own role in the battle could no longer be avoided. He had seen the gathering of the wolves outside the mountain, and he'd come to appreciate that Cap was right, in his own way. These people needed him, or if not him, the aspect of him that he'd come to avoid.
It was so that he found himself just before sunset, at a distance from the majority of their forces, pacing apprehensively. He was prepared to do what he must, but that didn't make it any easier.
