Edwin heaved a heavy sigh at her comment and rolled his eyes. Gesturing with his hand, he replied with a hint of sarcasm, "Please take a seat in the public area, Miss Martinelli, whilst I put on something less revealing."
He temporarily shut the door while he took the shirt he wore earlier in the day from its hook and put it on, tucking it neatly into his trousers. He then looked into the mirror on the wall and with his fingers brushed his hair back into place. A nod of his head indicated he was satisfied with his appearance, at least enough to go out the door and meet with his guest out in the ... foyer? Was that an appropriate term under these circumstances? It would have to do, because Edwin couldn't think of any other description.
"I hope this meets your standards better," he told Angie. "So what's upsetting you more? That I wasn't as strong as you imagined me to be, or that you were wrong?" Again with the biting sarcasm.
