Wanda looked up in surprise when he broke into Russian, but then smiled, almost fondly. There were so few people here that she could speak to in her own tongue besides Pietro. She didn't mind using English, but the words always came slower to her, as if she was trading in for something used, something slight bent. She could make the words work, but they were not perfect.
But even in Russian, she didn't know if she had all the words to explain everything she could do. All of HYDRA's scientists had rambled about the range of powers she had developed, using words she had never heard of before, even inventing some. She didn't have names from them, just knew what they felt like when the energy gathered in her head or her hands.
"Some telepathy," she answered, knowing that was a broad term to describe what she could do, especially when it came to manipulating what people were seeing. "And some manipulation of energies." She levitated one of the blocks again for a moment and then sent a wave of hex energy at it, which seared through it, red and hot, before the block sprinkled into ash on the ground.
