The sky is the sky, yes? You look up at night, and there are the moons and the stars, and unless you're a scholar you likely don't know more than a single constellation or two. The rest are simply the vast mass of stars, largely indistinguishable from one another.

That was what I thought, at any rate. On patrol tonight, though, I looked up at the sky above, and it wasn't only the fact that we have but one moon here that seemed odd. It was the stars. I couldn't even tell you the names of more than two or three stars in the sky I know, but I can look up into this sky and know that it is not the one I slept under before.

It's a very odd feeling. One thing to know, another to realize.

Neal's down to one nap a day, and his separation anxiety has reached an all-time high. Being a single parent is fun.

How long does this last? The separation anxiety, I mean. Although if you somehow know when he's going to get to see his father again -- I'd love to hear that, too.
