I would say that it is. It is not uncommon for humans to think that there are no dwarf women. When travelling, which is when humans are most likely to meet them, our women often dress in armour and carry weapons and with their beards, humans are often unable to distinguish between them and dwarf men. Our women generally feel no need to correct them on their mistake. I believe they find it amusing.
